The Professional Disc Golf Association Board of Directors, in close concert with PDGA Staff and the PDGA Medical Committee, has been actively monitoring the developments related to the COVID-19 pandemic, in particular its impact on mass gatherings and other sports organizations. Staff has also fielded many inquiries from concerned players, tournament directors, and other disc golf stakeholders and takes those concerns seriously.
The PDGA will continue to consult with the appropriate medical experts to determine next steps for moving forward in regard to the COVID-19 pandemic. The main priority of the PDGA continues to be the health, safety, and wellness of our players and spectators as we continue to monitor all developing and relevant information on the COVID-19 virus. We will update our position statement as new information comes to light.
